Program Information

Swim Shine Aquatics provides private swim instruction focused on water safety, survival skills, and confidence in the water. Each program is designed to support a child’s development in a structured, one-on-one learning environment.

How Scheduling Works

Lesson scheduling is coordinated through Survival Swim with Kim to ensure each family is properly supported and matched.

This allows us to maintain a safe, focused, and individualized learning experience for every swimmer.

Trial Lesson

Experience the Swim Shine difference with a one-on-one trial lesson designed to introduce your child to our survival swim program.

Water Babies

Swim with Me
(6 months - 2 years)
4 Lessons for

Swim with Me is a joyful introduction to swimming for moms, dads, and caregivers to bond with their little ones in the water. This class focuses on comfort, trust, and water safety through gentle, guided instruction.

What to Expect

   · Learn proper holds and movements to help both caregiver and child feel secure and supported

   · Practice water acclimation skills at your child’s own pace

   · Enjoy a loving and gentle environment that encourages confidence and fun

   · Participate in interactive activities such as floating, songs, and playful exploration

Our Approach

  · Guided instruction ensures each child feels comfortable and confident

   · Babies and toddlers experience safe, relaxed water exploration with their caregivers

   · Focus on safety skills first, followed by water enjoyment and ultimately proficient swimming

Goal: To nurture comfort, safety, and joyful connection in the water — creating positive early experiences that build the foundation for lifelong swimming success.

Swim Float Swim Survival 

24 Lessons – 

Program Includes:
• Registration and administrative fees
• Underwater pictures and videos
• Music reels of your swimmer
• Swim medal upon program completion

 

Program Commitment:

  • Must attend 4x a week for 6 consecutive weeks to achieve the accelerated results of this program

  • If your child is 2 years old or younger, a caregiver is required in the water on the first day

​Little Floaters (6-12 months)

  • Child must be crawling and rolling over independently

  • Duration: 6 weeks, one-on-one lessons

  • Teaches infants to roll over from a face-down or submerged position onto their back to relax and breathe

  • Focused on safety, confidence, and early water skills

Lesson Schedule & Structure

  • Total Lessons: 24

  • Lesson Duration: 15 minutes each

  • Frequency: 4 days per week, 6 consecutive weeks

 

 

Swim-Float-Swim (Children under 6 years old)

  • Child must be walking steadily on their own

  • Duration: 6 weeks, one-on-one lessons

  • Teaches the swim-float-swim sequence:

    • Swim a short distance

    • Roll onto back to float and breathe

    • Flip back onto tummy to continue swimming

  • Serves as the foundation for future stroke development and prepares students for our Stroke Development lessons

Lesson Schedule & Structure

  • Total Lessons: 24

  • Lesson Duration: 15 minutes each

  • Frequency: 4 days per week, 6 consecutive weeks

Dolphins (Children Ages 5–17)

12-Day Accelerated Water Safety & Swim Foundation Program

12 Lessons –

 

Program Includes:
• Registration and administrative fees
• Underwater pictures and videos
• Music reels of your swimmer
• Swim medal upon program completion

Program Commitment

  • To support accelerated learning, swimmers must attend 4x a week for 3 consecutive weeks. Consistency and full attendance are essential for the best learning experience.

 

Program Overview:
The Dolphins program is a structured, accelerated water safety course designed to build confidence, comfort, and foundational swimming skills through an accelerated 12-lesson format.

Students are guided through the essential swim–float–swim sequence, helping them develop critical survival skills while introducing the basics of traditional swim strokes. Each lesson reinforces breath control, body position, coordination, and endurance in the water.

Skills Students Will Learn:

  • Swim a short distance

  • Roll onto their back to float and breathe

  • Roll back onto their stomach to continue swimming

These skills provide a strong foundation for water safety, continued stroke development, and lifelong enjoyment of the water.

Lesson Schedule & Structure:

  • Total Lessons: 12 

  • Lesson Duration: 15 minutes each

  • Frequency: 4 days per week, 3 consecutive weeks

Program Disclaimer:

This program is designed to accelerate water safety and foundational swimming skills. While many children make strong progress during the 12-day program, each swimmer develops at their own pace. Progress depends on factors such as comfort level, participation, prior experience, and consistency. Completion of the program does not guarantee independent swimming ability, and some swimmers may require additional lessons.

Sensory Swim-Adapted Aquatics

24 Lessons – 

For children with disabilities and those on the autism spectrum

Program Includes:

Program Commitment:

  • Must attend 4x a week for 6 consecutive weeks to achieve the accelerated results

  • Lessons are one-on-one, tailored to each child’s needs

Program Overview

At Swim Shine Aquatics, we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn essential swim skills and enjoy the water safely and comfortably.
Our hands-on, ABA-style approach builds skills through:

  • “My turn, your turn” guided instruction

  • Demonstrations of each skill for visual cues and modeling

  • Focused practice to build muscle memory and confidence

This program is ideal for children on the autism spectrum, those with sensory challenges, speech delays, or non-verbal children. Many students thrive in this supportive, structured environment.

Stroke Development

12 Lessons – 
For children over  4.5 years old | Beginner - Intermediate Swimmers


Program Includes:
• Registration and administrative fees
• Underwater pictures and videos
• Music reels of your swimmer
• Swim medal upon program completion

*Completion of private lessons or a private assessment is required
to participate in Stroke Development program.

Program Commitment:

  • Must attend 4x a week for 3 consecutive weeks to achieve the accelerated results

  • Lessons are one-on-one for personalized instruction

Program Overview:

This program is designed to give children a strong foundation in stroke technique and diving skills. Students will:

  • Learn all four competitive strokes

  • Develop proper head and body positioning

  • Practice bilateral breathing techniques

  • Build efficient and streamlined strokes through targeted drills

 

Goal: To enhance stroke efficiency, technique, and confidence in the water, preparing swimmers for future competitive and recreational swimming.

  • Total Lessons: 12

  • Lesson Duration: 30 minutes each

  • Frequency: 4 days per week, 3 consecutive weeks

Maintenance/Refresher Lessons
12 Lessons 
These lessons are designed for swimmers who have previously completed a program and would benefit from continued practice, confidence building, and skill reinforcement in the water.

Program Overview

Maintenance / Refresher Lessons are designed to strengthen and maintain your child’s survival swimming skills after completing a Swim Shine Aquatics program.

  • One-on-one lessons for personalized attention

  • Focus on reinforcing survival skills, stroke technique, and water confidence

  • Maintenance and refresher lessons are available for returning students only.​

Adult Lessons

12 Lessons – 
At Swim Shine Aquatics, we firmly believe that everyone should know the basics of swimming, floating, and essential water safety skills. Our supportive, one-on-one instruction is designed to help adults feel comfortable, confident, and safe in the water.

Program Overview

Our Adult Lessons are designed for:

  • Beginners or those fearful of water

  • Adults wanting to improve stroke efficiency and breathing skills

  • Learning fundamentals of all four competitive strokes

  • Fun underwater swimming for activities like snorkeling

 

This fast-paced but never intimidating program works at your individual pace, leaving you with:

  • Increased confidence in the water

  • Enhanced swimming skills

  • The ability to enjoy swimming for life
